Application Support Engineer Tier 1A role at Alegeus, providing technical support to internal teams and business clients and driving product improvement.

What you'll do

• Become a trusted technical advisor for internal teams and business clients, helping resolve complex application, connectivity, and data-related issues.
• Investigate, analyze, and troubleshoot software and service challenges, uncovering root causes and delivering effective solutions.
• Manage multiple customer cases in a dynamic environment, providing proactive communication, timely updates, and an exceptional support experience.
• Partner closely with Engineering, Development, and Product teams to escalate critical issues, influence product enhancements, and improve overall system performance.
• Transform technical concepts into clear, actionable information for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by identifying recurring trends, documenting solutions, and creating resources that enhance product quality and support effectiveness.

What you'll need

• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and business audiences.
• 3+ years of experience providing end-user technical support for software applications.
• Experience working with SQL databases (MS SQL, Oracle, or similar).
• Experience reviewing CSV and fixed-format files and leveraging data analysis to research and resolve technical issues.
• Equivalent combination of relevant technical support experience, skills, and training.
