What you'll do

• Architect infrastructure for autonomous agents to plan, reason, execute, and recover from failures.
• Develop backend and infrastructure systems for large-scale application and agent-action workloads.
• Solve reliability, validation, observability, debugging, evaluation, and fault tolerance for non-deterministic systems.
• Set architectural standards across infrastructure, platform, agent runtime, and distributed execution systems.
• Drive technical direction and create new engineering paradigms for unsolved problems.
• Mentor senior engineers and influence engineering culture.

What you'll need

• 9+ years building large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience owning architecture for critical production infrastructure.
• Deep expertise in concurrency, distributed computing, reliability, performance, and fault tolerance.
• A history of driving technical strategy across multiple teams.
• Strong backend expertise in Go, Python, Java, C++, Rust, or similar languages.
