Backend Engineer ( India )

Overview

Backend Engineer for a cloud-native video security platform. You will design and maintain core backend services supporting data flows, reliability, and performance.

What you'll do

• Design and implement APIs, databases, and data pipelines.
• Scale systems for growing traffic with observability and cost reduction.
• Take end-to-end responsibility for delivering features and maintaining SLAs.
• Debug issues across the stack.
• Support a broader front-end, edge-computing, and ML team.

What you'll need

• Experience building systems of reasonable scale.
• Familiarity with Go or Python.
• Experience designing, implementing, debugging, scaling, and optimizing APIs, databases, and pipelines.
• Experience working as traffic grows to multi-TB scale.
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal).
• Ability to work in an onsite environment.
