Overview

The Manager – Finance Automation & Systems Support (Balance Sheet Substantiation) leads technology-enabled process transformation, automation, reporting solutions, and systems support for finance operations.

What you'll do

• Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort via practical automation, standardization, and reporting enhancements.
• Use tools like Excel/Power Query/VBA/Power BI/Power Automate/Python (or similar) for data preparation, validation, workflow improvement, and management reporting.
• Partner with Finance and Technology to translate requirements into process and system improvements.
• Support system enhancements and automation initiatives, including testing and transition to BAU.
• Perform requirements gathering, gap analysis, user acceptance testing, issue resolution, and documentation (BRDs/FSDs/UAT).
• Monitor and troubleshoot tools, reports, workflows, and operational processes; coordinate with technical teams for deeper support.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls, governance, and audit requirements for automation and reporting solutions.

What you'll need

• 5–10 years of experience in technology, automation, and data analytics.
• Proficiency with Power Platform and tools including Python, Alteryx, VBA, and Tableau (as listed).
• Practical exposure to Excel, Power Query, VBA, Power BI, Power Automate, Tableau, Python, Alteryx, or similar tools.
• Understanding of end-to-end business processes and strong process automation/system integration plus control framework knowledge.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel features such as formulas, pivot tables, and data validation.
• Awareness of analytics, automation, and AI-enabled tools to identify practical finance use cases.
• Ability to evaluate finance workflows, document requirements, support testing, and coordinate technical-team delivery.
