Overview

Corpay is hiring a Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst in Chennai to build and maintain Tableau dashboards for internal leadership and external clients, supporting the lodging line of business as well as airline and insurance.

What you'll do

• Build, deploy, and maintain Tableau dashboards to visualize key business metrics and trends.
• Leverage data from diverse sources (e.g., lodging, airline, and insurance) to provide meaningful insights for internal stakeholders and external clients.
• Ensure dashboards adhere to best practices in data visualization and are easily interpretable by non-technical audiences.
• Gather requirements from various business units to understand reporting needs and identify potential data sources.
• Translate raw data into clear insights and actionable recommendations.
• Oversee data acquisition and enrichment processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Manage and maintain dashboards on Tableau Server, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Monitor dashboards regularly and address issues related to data integrity or performance.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, client management, sales, and IT, to align data insights with business objectives.
• Communicate findings to leadership in a clear, concise manner, tailoring the level of detail to the audience.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline).
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server; experience building and maintaining production-level dashboards is essential.
• Substantial exposure to relational databases and uses of SQL, R and Python.
• Exposure to data lakes (e.g., AWS) or data warehousing solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex data and deliver insights that drive business decisions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate data findings into actionable recommendations for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on business impact.

Nice to have

• Master's degree (desirable but not essential).
• Familiarity with Alteryx or other automated data preparation tools.
• Previous experience in the lodging or hospitality industry (highly desirable).
