Overview
Bilingual Instructional Designer for Allstate’s Learning & Development team, supporting targeted learning solutions for internal business groups.
What you'll do
- Partner with business stakeholders, project teams, and SMEs to conduct learning and performance needs analysis and define learning objectives.
- Lead instructional design projects end-to-end from intake and analysis through design, development, evaluation, and handover.
- Recommend learning strategies and delivery methods (e.g., instructor-led, virtual, eLearning, blended, job aids, performance support).
- Plan, design, and develop high-quality learning solutions in both English and French.
- Apply instructional design and adult learning methodologies (including ADDIE, SAM, and Bloom’s Taxonomy).
- Create learning assessments and evaluation approaches to measure learning effectiveness and support continuous improvement.
- Communicate project status, risks, dependencies, and timelines.
What you'll need
- Proven experience designing and developing learning solutions using tools such as Articulate, Camtasia, Vyond, or other authoring tools.
- Demonstrated knowledge of instructional design methodologies, adult learning principles, and learning project management practices.
- Bilingualism in English and French (oral and written) is required.
- Ability to manage learning projects end-to-end with stakeholder consultation and multiple concurrent initiatives.
- Experience designing and developing technical or complex learning content.
- Experience with digital adoption or in-application learning tools (e.g., Whatfix or similar) for embedding guidance and performance support.
