Overview
Instructional Designer role creating engaging learning experiences for franchise owners, partners, team members, customers, and other stakeholders.
What you'll do
- Design and develop learning experiences like e-learning modules, instructor-led training, videos, onboarding, job aids, SOPs, and assessments.
- Manage learning content lifecycle from concept through development, review, launch, and continuous improvement.
- Create learning journeys, course outlines, storyboards, scripts, activities, simulations, and assessments tied to learning objectives.
- Use innovation and AI tools to accelerate research, content development, storyboarding, visual creation, video/voice production, and rapid prototyping.
- Collaborate with Product, Operations, Marketing, Technology, and other teams to build training for new products, processes, systems, and initiatives.
- Maintain and update existing training programs as needs evolve.
What you'll need
- 5–10 years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, training content development, or a similar role.
- Hands-on exposure to the U.S. market when developing learning/training content for U.S. audiences.
- Strong knowledge of instructional design principles, adult learning methodologies, learning objectives, assessments, and learner engagement.
- Experience developing e-learning modules, videos, presentations, facilitator-led training, job aids, SOPs, assessments, and other learning materials.
- Proficiency with modern instructional design, e-learning, multimedia, LMS, video, or content creation tools.
- Ability to use AI thoughtfully while maintaining accuracy, quality, relevance, and sound judgment.
- Ability to collaborate with SMEs and cross-functional teams and drive projects from concept to completion.
