Learning Experience Designer

Overview

As a Learning Experience Consultant/Designer, you will act as an architect for TaskUs clients, mapping requirements, planning solutions and executing training strategies.

What you'll do

• Meet with Subject-Matter Experts to conduct Front End Analysis/Task Analyses and document content-specific knowledge to support training development
• Determine the level of effort required for all aspects of development
• Design and develop all training content (instructor slides, handbooks, scripts, storyboards, web-based training decks, interactivity modules, quizzes, activities, etc.)
• Create assessments per the defined assessment strategy
• Support facilitation of answer validation sessions for fully defensible and aligned assessments as directed by the Training Program Manager
• Review training content created by other team members
• Assist with onboarding and upskilling new Learning Experience Consultants
• Develop SMART Learning Objectives
• Provide peer-to-peer mentorship and upskilling

What you'll need

• BA/BS degree in Learning Development, Instructional Design, Education, or equivalent practical experience
• At least 5 years of Instructional Design/Curriculum development experience
• At least 3 years of experience reviewing the work of others for quality and consistency
• At least 2 years proven excellence in developing fully ADA-compliant training deliverables
• At least 2 years experience using e-learning tools (i.e. Articulate, Captivate) to create training content
• Experience working with fast-paced cutting-edge technologies
• Strong organizational skills
• Experience with documentation, technical writing, and narrative scripting
• Tolerance and enthusiasm for working with ambiguity and change
• Experience with e-learning authoring software, i.e. Articulate Storyline, Evolve for course development
• Experience in corporate education

Nice to have

• Experience identifying training needs, defining, and building scalable training solutions to address the needs of a diverse international audience
• Experience migrating training courses into Cornerstone or other LMS
• Solid experience planning for and managing several large-scale, complex training projects and coordinating cross-functional stakeholders to deliver quality training materials within deadlines; excellent relationship-building, collaboration, consultation, and influencing skills
• A team player with a positive attitude; excellent written and oral business communication and people skills
• Video editing such as Premiere, Finalcut, Camtasia, etc.
• Learning Management System - Cornerstone LMS
• SQL queries and visualization of key performance metrics
• Google Docs, Spreadsheets, Slides, Buganizer, Guts in assessments, support, and QA
