Business Analyst

Overview

As a Business Analyst at BP International Limited, you will transform data into actionable insights, drive strategic decision-making, and optimize business processes across global operations.

What you'll do

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify opportunities, and define data-driven solutions.
• Perform comprehensive data analysis, including data cleansing, transformation, and manipulation, to ensure data quality and integrity.
• Utilize advanced data visualization techniques to present complex data insights clearly and concisely to diverse audiences.
• Develop and implement data integration strategies, including Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes, to consolidate data from various sources.
• Contribute to the development and enforcement of data strategy and governance frameworks to maintain data security and compliance, including aspects of Digital Security.
• Leverage strong commercial acumen to translate analytical findings into tangible business value and strategic recommendations.
• Participate in group problem-solving initiatives, offering data-backed perspectives and fostering collaborative solutions.
• Effectively communicate findings, recommendations, and project progress to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Engage in data sourcing activities to identify and acquire relevant datasets for analysis.
• Apply deep data domain knowledge to interpret data accurately and derive meaningful conclusions.

What you'll need

• 5+ years of experience.
• Proven experience in Commercial Acumen, demonstrating an understanding of business drivers and financial implications.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly.
• Strong proficiency in Data Analysis, including statistical analysis and problem-solving.
• Expertise in data cleansing and transformation techniques.
• Solid experience with Data Integration and ETL (Extract, Transform, and Load) processes.

Nice to have

• In-depth data domain knowledge relevant to the energy sector.
