Business Analytics Sr Analyst AVP

Overview

A seasoned Business Analytics Senior Analyst role that applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge to develop new techniques and improve processes, integrating subject matter expertise and influencing decisions within the function.

What you'll do

• Gather operational data from cross-functional stakeholders to examine past business performance.
• Identify data patterns and trends, and provide insights to enhance business decision making in business planning, process improvement and solution assessment.
• Recommend actions for future developments, strategic business opportunities and enhancements to operational policies.
• May be involved in exploratory data analysis, confirmatory data analysis and/or qualitative analysis.
• Translate data into consumer or customer behavioral insights to drive targeting and segmentation strategies, and communicate findings clearly to business partners and senior leaders.
• Continuously improve processes and strategies by exploring and evaluating new data sources, tools and capabilities.
• Work closely with internal and external business partners in building, implementing, tracking and improving decision strategies.
• Appropriately assess risk in business decisions, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, and escalating and reporting control issues with transparency.

What you'll need

• 5-8 years of experience.
• Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience.
• Excellent analytical and business strategy skills.
• Effective communication skills, including the ability to present to business partners and/or leaders to gain approvals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Project and process management skills.
• Solid organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects at one time.
• Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to work successfully in a team environment and drive outcomes.

Nice to have

• Experience with a prior focus in financial services analytics.

• Office setting with minimal travel; working hours in the office may be required during projects.
• Minimal physical effort; high levels of prolonged concentration may be required in front of a computer.
