Business Development Associate (Enterprise) - Strategic SDR

Overview

Business Development Associate (Enterprise) — Strategic SDR role focused on breaking into SpendHound’s largest prospect accounts with more than $100m in software spend.

What you'll do

• Use creative prospecting to open a new vertical and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Identify prospective opportunities and start sales engagement using outbound communication channels.
• Leverage outbound methods including cold calling, cold emailing, and LinkedIn messages.
• Generate interest and meetings from Procurement leaders.
• Develop skills using modern sales technology tools including Apollo, Orum, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo.
• Work with Enterprise Sales Development Manager, Enablement Manager, and Head of Sales to develop sales skills and refine messaging.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of work experience in a high-velocity sales environment as a top-performing SDR/BDR.
• Successful experience selling for a U.S.-based tech company to U.S. prospects, with a focus on cold-calling.
• A track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
• Strong interpersonal skills and high emotional intelligence.
• Self-motivation and proactive time management.
• Ability to handle rejection and stay coachable and willing to learn.
• Sound judgment when handling new situations.
