Business Development Executive - French Speaking

Overview

Business Development Executive role on the Onboarding Team, focused on converting prospective SME leads into active Tide members.

What you'll do

• Engage prospective SME members, address objections, and communicate benefits of the Tide app.
• Proactively call applicants who started an application and guide them through completion.
• Build trust and rapport by understanding business needs and introducing relevant financial products/services.
• Work with KYC agents to verify documentation, troubleshoot application issues, and meet regulatory requirements.
• Recommend additional services using a consultative sales approach to maximize upselling opportunities.
• Collect onboarding feedback from potential members and share insights with internal teams.

What you'll need

• Native-level proficiency in spoken and written French.
• Experience in telesales, business development, or customer service with a proven ability to convert leads.
• Target-driven, commercially focused approach with ability to upsell relevant products.
• Comfort as a proactive self-starter in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
• Ability to adapt in an agile setting with shifting priorities and market dynamics.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail with KYC requirements and compliance processes.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of compliance, KYC, AML, and financial regulations or prior fintech sector experience.
• Experience using Zendesk, predictive dialers, or other CRM/sales engagement tools.
