Job description

Overview

Business Development Manager for STAAH (an Access Company), a hunter role selling channel management and revenue management software to hotels and accommodation providers, owning the full new business sales cycle from self-generated outbound prospecting through to contract close.

What you'll do

  • Proactively build and manage a robust sales pipeline through high-volume cold calling, cold email outreach, LinkedIn/social selling, and self-sourced prospecting
  • Maintain daily/weekly outbound activity targets (calls, emails, meetings booked) as a core KPI
  • Build target account lists and territory plans to systematically cover hotels, chains, and hospitality groups within the assigned region
  • Run the full new-business sales cycle end-to-end: prospecting, discovery, demo, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Negotiate commercial terms and contracts to close deals within target sales cycle
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date pipeline data in CRM, with realistic close dates and deal stages
  • Stay current on OTA dynamics, hotel distribution trends, and revenue management best practices to sharpen positioning in outbound conversations
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaign feedback to improve MQL quality and messaging

What you'll need

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3–5 years of quota-carrying, new-business sales experience, ideally in Revenue Management Software, Channel Management, or other hospitality/SaaS software
  • Demonstrable track record of hitting or exceeding new business sales targets through self-generated pipeline (cold calling and cold outreach essential)
  • Strong knowledge of hotel distribution systems, OTAs, property management systems, and pricing strategies
  • Comfortable with high-activity outbound sales motions — resilient, persistent, and process-driven
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to sell value and ROI to hospitality decision-makers
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (pipeline hygiene and forecasting discipline essential) and MS Office
  • Self-starter, able to work independently, manage a territory, and prioritise a high volume pipeline

Details

  • Regional position: the candidate has to be located in the assigned city and must know the regional language
