Business Development Representative (Sydney or Melbourne)

Overview

Work remotely from Sydney or Melbourne as a Business Development Representative focused on generating qualified meetings and sales pipeline from Enterprise and Mid-Market accounts in Australia.

What you'll do

• Manage inbound leads and execute outbound prospecting initiatives.
• Conduct discovery conversations with target accounts.
• Research accounts, identify key players and develop account strategies.
• Execute call, email and social outreach using Outreach.io.
• Track and report activities and results in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with Field and Digital Marketing to drive event attendance and opportunities.
• Mentor new BDR hires and refine team strategies.

What you'll need

• Professional proficiency in English.
• Experience developing Enterprise and Mid-Market business in Australia.
• Experience in sales development, marketing, sales or outbound prospecting.
• Strong phone, listening and writing skills.
• Proficiency with Salesforce and LinkedIn.
• Persistence in meeting targets through follow-up and objection handling.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in other Asian languages.
• Proficiency with ZoomInfo, Cognism, Outreach or 6Sense.
• Previous technology industry experience.
• Interest in GitLab and the DevOps space.
