Business Development Specialist

Overview

Drive outbound business development for North American electric utility accounts by engaging decision-makers, qualifying leads, and scheduling introductory meetings. The role is suitable for fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of outbound sales experience.

What you'll do

• Execute high-volume prospecting through cold calls, LinkedIn outreach, and personalized emails.
• Qualify leads and schedule introductory meetings for Account Executives.
• Maintain accurate and organized Salesforce pipeline records.
• Collaborate with Sales and Marketing on account strategy, messaging, and campaigns.
• Achieve weekly, monthly, and quarterly meeting and opportunity targets.
• Track performance metrics and refine prospecting methods.
• Represent the company at utility and industry conferences across North America.

What you'll need

• 0–2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a similar customer-facing role.
• Ability to make 200+ cold calls per day in a high-volume prospecting environment.
• Strong organizational skills for managing high activity volumes and accurate CRM records.
• Strong communication skills and ability to learn complex industry concepts.
• Experience with CRM platforms, preferably Salesforce.
• Experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

• Full-time position.
• Total cash compensation: $60,000–$90,000 annually, including base salary and annual performance bonus.
