Business Development Specialist (Outbound- International)

Overview

Business Development Specialist (Outbound- International) to support the sales team by identifying, qualifying, and nurturing potential SME customers for commercial finance solutions.

What you'll do

• Identify and qualify high-potential SME leads across inbound and outbound channels.
• Engage prospective customers via calls, emails, and digital platforms to understand finance needs.
• Conduct initial discovery conversations to assess eligibility and fit for funding products.
• Maintain accurate and detailed customer interaction records in Salesforce.
• Work with Sr Business Finance Specialists to hand off qualified leads.
• Contribute to improving outreach strategies and conversion processes.
• Share insights, lead quality feedback, and lending trends with sales and marketing teams.

What you'll need

• 1–3 years of experience in lead generation, inside sales, or B2B sales support.
• Exposure to financial services, fintech, or SME lending (a strong plus).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet lead qualification targets.
• Proactive, self-starting attitude focused on delivering value.
• Experience with CRM systems like Salesforce (desirable).
• Passion for helping small businesses grow.
