Business Intelligence Analyst

Overview

Business Intelligence Analyst responsible for designing, developing, and supporting reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI and SQL Server technologies.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and maintain operational, management, and executive dashboards using Power BI.
• Create and support SSRS reports and reporting frameworks.
• Develop data models, KPIs, scorecards, and performance metrics.
• Gather and document business requirements and translate them into reporting solutions.
• Manage the reporting solution lifecycle, including design, deployment, enhancement, and retirement.
• Provide production support, troubleshoot reporting failures, and monitor report refresh schedules.
• Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and datasets for data analysis and validation.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of experience in reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data analysis roles.
• Experience with Power BI (Desktop, Service, Dataflows, Semantic Models).
• Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
• Advanced SQL Server skills, including database performance optimization and data modeling concepts.
• Strong Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Power Query, Power Pivot; VBA preferred).
• Experience with KPI/SLA reporting and dashboard visualization design.
• Ability to gather requirements and perform data validation, reconciliation, and QA.
