Business Process Architect

Overview

Analyze and design new business processes and produce the documentation that guides their implementation, working with the business to define requirements, use cases and user/task flows, with ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM) as the core skill.

What you'll do

• Analyze existing workflows and design new business processes aligned with organizational goals.
• Create and refine business process documentation to ensure clarity and usability.
• Partner with the business to define product requirements and use cases that meet process and functional requirements.
• Participate in user and task analysis to represent business needs.
• Evaluate user interactions and task flows to ensure new processes address business needs and support technology integration.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to align stakeholders on process objectives and outcomes.
• Engage with cross-functional teams to support implementation and adoption of processes.
• Monitor process performance post-implementation and recommend improvements to efficiency and effectiveness.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams.

What you'll need

• 15 years of full-time education.
• Minimum 7.5 years of experience is required.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Proficiency in ServiceNow IT Service Management (ITSM).
• Strong analytical skills to assess and design business processes that meet organizational needs.
• Experience in documenting complex workflows and translating business requirements into actionable process designs.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at various levels.
• Familiarity with process modeling techniques and tools to visualize and communicate process flows.
• Excellent communication skills to articulate process changes and facilitate user adoption.
