Business Risk Data Analyst

Overview

Associate-level Business Risk Data Analyst role within a Data, Automation and AI team, delivering data-driven solutions that support risk management and decision-making across Commercial & Institutional Banking.

What you'll do

• Collect, profile and map data to support reporting, automation initiatives and AI-enabled solutions.
• Analyse and document risk process and data flows, helping establish consistent data definitions, standards and models.
• Translate business risk requirements into functional and data solutions, supporting automated processes and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders across Business Risk, Corporate Services and the Growth Office to support data-led initiatives.
• Work across the data lifecycle, from extraction, processing and analysis through to visualisation and automation, helping ensure data is accurate, reliable and fit for purpose.

What you'll need

• Experience using data analysis and visualisation tools to deliver meaningful insight within a Risk or Technology environment.
• An in-depth understanding of the interrelationships of data structures, relationships and multiple data domains.
• Experience working within cloud-based data environments such as AWS.
• Experience delivering analysis and insight using both qualitative and quantitative data across a range of business and risk-related subjects.
• Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights and requirements for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Amazon QuickSight or Microsoft PowerPlatform solutions.
