Business System Analyst

Overview

The Oracle EBS/Cloud Applications Finance Business System Analyst will support Motorola Solutions' Finance Organization within the Enterprise Core Technology IT group. The role focuses on transforming, maintaining and enhancing financial systems in Oracle EBS and Fusion Cloud, supporting billing, revenue and collection processes.

What you'll do

• Own and maintain Oracle Accounts Receivable business and IT processes covering billing, revenue and collection, with an 80% functional and 20% technical focus.
• Lead the Finance IT role in transformation programs and represent the Finance organization's interests.
• Understand business requirements and convert them into functional requirements.
• Work with internal IT teams and lead external IT teams to adopt best practices and simplify the user experience.
• Debug system behavior for features and explain it to users.
• Perform fit/gap analysis for each functional area in a business process to achieve specific goals.
• Align the business with more standardized processes within Oracle EBS/Cloud to reduce customizations.
• Provide management summaries in business terms covering issues, root cause and next steps.
• Work in a fast-paced Agile environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Research new technologies and implement them to make business processes and user interactions easier.
• Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders in US and EMEA time zones.

What you'll need

• A bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
• 5 years of demonstrated experience with Oracle R12 EBS or Oracle Cloud applications supporting billing, collections and revenue processes within Quote to Cash processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• A self-starter approach.
