Client Implementation Analyst, NCT

Overview

Client Implementation Analyst (NCT) role in Mumbai, India, responsible for oversight of the KYC framework within the Business, ensuring KYC processes and controls align with regulation, responsibilities and reporting lines (first line of defence).

What you'll do

• Ensure ultimate responsibility for KYC processes and procedures and their well-functioning, including minimum control mechanisms, responsibilities and reporting lines within the Business.
• Provide regular MIS and ad-hoc information and reports on the client base and on selected KYC cases or files as requested.
• Support AML on business-view KYC topics such as policy revisions, staff training and coordination at divisional or local level.
• Act as counterpart for the Local AML Officer on general KYC questions related to the Business.
• Ensure appropriate staff communications and training related to KYC.
• Ensure suitable implementation of new regulation and policies within KYC scope.
• Verify that Regional/Local KOPs are updated in line with new DB policies and new or updated local regulatory legislation.
• Establish a KYC reviews plan together with the Quality Assurance function, and ensure it is implemented and updated in line with review evolution and experience (risk-based approach).
• Analyse outcomes of quality reviews and other relevant KYC events, and propose improvement actions by constructing an action plan for submission to Senior Management approval.
• Ensure detected anomalies are resolved and defined improvement actions are properly completed.
• Escalate overdue actions according to each ABI location (country) control structure.
