Clinical Programmer I / II

Overview

Develop and validate clinical data programs, dashboards, and reporting solutions for medium- to high-complexity clinical trials. Partner with cross-functional study teams to support data quality, study readiness, and clinical reporting needs.

What you'll do

• Develop and validate clinical trial data programs using SAS, Python, R, and SQL.
• Build and maintain Power BI, Spotfire, and MicroStrategy dashboards.
• Automate data-quality checks, reconciliations, and edit checks for TPV data.
• Program operational reports covering missing pages, queries, signatures, and audit trails.
• Create visualizations that identify discrepancies between EDC and TPV data.
• Document deliverables, complete peer reviews, and maintain reporting assets.
• Collaborate with clinical, data management, biometrics, and operations teams.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, life science, statistics, or equivalent.
• Programming experience with SAS, Python, R, SQL, or dashboard technologies.
• Dashboard development skills in Power BI or Spotfire.
• Basic knowledge of clinical development processes.
• Basic knowledge of data capture, data models, and data mining.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of industry standards and FDA regulations.
• Knowledge of GCP/ICH guidelines related to clinical programming.
• Experience with EDC systems such as Medidata Rave, Inform, Veeva, Saama, or Entimice.
• Knowledge of MicroStrategy.
