Job description

Overview

Support MR research collaborations across UK&I customer sites as part of Philips’ Europe-wide Clinical Science team. The role combines customer research support, MR scientific leadership, technical collaboration and knowledge transfer.

What you'll do

  • Manage research collaborations across multiple partner sites.
  • Provide first-line support for research-related questions.
  • Contribute to customer research projects and academic papers.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with MR research leaders.
  • Support technical demonstrations, customer visits and clinical training.
  • Assist with local troubleshooting alongside Engineering and Applications teams.
  • Transfer customer clinical needs and research conclusions to Philips.

What you'll need

  • Ph.D. in physics, chemistry, biomedical engineering or another relevant technical field.
  • A doctoral thesis or scientific publications on MR-related topics.
  • Ability to operate Philips MR scanners independently.
  • Ability to program research applications, including pulse sequences and image reconstruction.
  • Ability to present scientific and clinical information to varied audiences.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Availability for national and occasional international travel.

Nice to have

  • Programming experience.
