Closing Operations Associate

Overview

Closing Operations Associate supporting high-volume real estate transaction closings by coordinating activities, validating documentation, and resolving routine post-closing issues.

What you'll do

• Manage a pipeline of purchase and refinance transactions to support smooth, on-time closings.
• Provide customer service for customers and transaction partners via phone, email, SMS, and chat.
• Review multi-state purchase contracts and ensure compliance with contractual, legal, and regulatory requirements and deadlines.
• Identify and explain title issues from searches and title commitments to guide resolution steps.
• Calculate and prepare closing fees and disbursements, and assemble loan and closing document packages.
• Coordinate with exam, curative, funding, and post-closing teams and work across multiple applications.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of experience in closing operations, real estate transactions, mortgage operations, or a related documentation-focused operations environment.
• Experience in title and escrow closing, ideally with purchase transactions across multiple states.
• Comfort using technologies and workflow tools for high-volume phone and email communication.
• Ability to prioritize competing deadlines and manage multiple transactions at once in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to learn and follow county, state, and regulatory requirements.
• Clear communication with customers and internal partners.
