Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Cloud Migration Engineer responsible for assessing current solutions and infrastructure and planning and implementing application and data migrations to cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Evaluate existing systems and infrastructure to determine migration approach.
• Plan and deliver application and data migration to cloud.
• Lead design and implementation of cloud migration strategies aligned to objectives.
• Monitor migration progress and proactively identify risks or issues, applying corrective actions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and multiple teams to align migration strategies.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the team.

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of experience (also stated: minimum 7 years of experience in Python).
• Proficiency in Python (Programming Language).
• Experience with cloud platforms and services to support migration activities.
• Strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex systems and develop migration plans.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting for migration process streamlining.
• Understanding of network architecture and security considerations in cloud environments.
