Cloud Migration Engineer

Overview

Assess existing solutions and infrastructure and plan, deliver and implement application and data migration to private and public cloud, acting as an SME who leads a team and mentors junior members.

What you'll do

• Evaluate current systems and infrastructure to determine the best approach for transitioning to cloud environments.
• Lead the development and execution of migration plans ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
• Plan and implement application and data migration with scalable, high-performance solutions.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align migration activities with business priorities and timelines.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Mentor junior team members to enhance their skills and support their professional growth.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of experience in TIBCO Administration.
• Proficiency in TIBCO Administration.
• 15 years full time education.
• Strong knowledge of cloud migration methodologies and best practices.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable cloud architectures.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize cloud-based applications and infrastructure.

Nice to have

• Experience with Google Cloud Compute Services.
• Familiarity with automation tools and scripting to streamline migration processes.
