Cloud Security Associate Architect

Overview

Cloud Security Associate Architect responsible for embedding security across cloud and enterprise architectures while providing technical leadership to cross-functional teams.

What you'll do

• Incorporate security requirements into enterprise, cloud, and product architectures.
• Translate security frameworks and regulatory requirements into actionable guidance.
• Define and maintain security standards, reference architectures, and secure design patterns.
• Run security assessments, threat modeling, and architecture reviews for new and emerging technologies.
• Review architectural exceptions and recommend compensating controls.
• Track security findings, recommend risk-based actions, and support remediation efforts.

What you'll need

• 10+ years of hands-on experience in Security Architecture, Cloud Security, Application Security, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• Experience conducting security architecture reviews, threat modeling, and risk assessments.
• Strong understanding of cloud platforms, modern application architectures, and enterprise security controls.
• Knowledge of security frameworks, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to balance security, business, and engineering requirements.

Nice to have

• Experience designing and securing multi-cloud environments and cloud-native architectures.
• Knowledge of AI/ML security and agentic systems risk management.
• Professional security certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCSP, AWS Security Specialty, Azure Security Engineer).
• Experience with DevSecOps, secure software development lifecycle (SSDLC), and cloud security tooling.

• Location: Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
• Hybrid: in the office 2-3 days a week depending on the role.
