Cloud Security Specialist

Overview

Cloud Security Specialist responsible for building and operating an enterprise cloud security program across multi-cloud environments.

What you'll do

• Support development and execution of an enterprise-wide cloud security program.
• Define and manage security controls for a multi-cloud architecture.
• Configure, maintain, deploy, and write rules in cloud security tools.
• Review and investigate alerts from cloud security tools and escalate as appropriate.
• Define procedures to validate effectiveness of security controls (confidentiality, integrity, availability).
• Develop procedures, SOPs, and trainings for each technology and drive tooling adoption across the enterprise.

What you'll need

• 3-5 years of experience operating with at least one cloud provider (preferably GCP, Azure, or AWS).
• Strong understanding of cloud security industry standards and best practices (CSA CCM, CIS, NIST benchmarks, etc.).
• Proficiency using Linux, MacOS, and Windows OS tools.
• Experience operating and maintaining cloud security tools across the stack (e.g., CSPM, CWPP, CASB, CIEM, GuardDuty, AWS Config, Amazon Inspector).
• Advanced hands-on experience with one or more programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Go, Java, Terraform).
• At least one associate level cloud certification (e.g., AWS Solutions Architect, GCP Associate Cloud Engineer).
