CMDB & Service Mapping Analyst - Senior Engineer IT Asset Management

Overview

Support CMDB operations and build, maintain, and validate ServiceNow service maps. Ensure CMDB data quality, accurate CI relationships, service visibility, and alignment with CSDM standards while supporting operational, governance, and compliance requirements.

What you'll do

• Build, maintain, and support ServiceNow service maps.
• Manage CMDB data quality, CI relationships, reconciliation exceptions, and remediation activities.
• Validate service dependencies with service owners, application owners, and technical SMEs.
• Support Discovery operations, investigate mapping and discovery issues, and maintain relationship accuracy.
• Perform service map reviews, certification, and periodic validation activities.
• Produce operational reports, document exceptions, and support governance and audit requirements.

What you'll need

• 3+ years of ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping experience.
• Strong knowledge of CSDM, CI lifecycle management, and dependency mapping.
• Experience working with infrastructure, applications, cloud platforms, and ITSM processes.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Any degree and 4-6 years’ relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
