Co-op, Clinical Pharmacology & Pharmacometrics

Overview

Six-month student co-op role on the Pharmacometrics team, focused on quantitative systems pharmacology, AI/ML applications, and model-based meta-analysis in autoimmune drug development.

What you'll do

• Develop and refine mechanistic QSP models for drug discovery and development programs.
• Evaluate AI and machine learning approaches for QSP modeling workflows.
• Perform model-based meta-analyses to inform portfolio and drug-development decisions.
• Analyze and interpret preclinical and clinical data for model development.
• Prepare internal progress presentations.
• Prepare external posters and manuscripts when applicable.

What you'll need

• Be a third-year-or-above Ph.D. candidate with quantitative, computational, or mechanistic modeling experience.
• Have experience developing or applying mathematical, computational, or systems biology models.
• Use R, Python, MATLAB, or similar scientific computing tools.
• Analyze biological, preclinical, clinical, omics, or literature-derived datasets.
• Demonstrate quantitative reasoning and scientific problem-solving skills.
• Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. and at least 18 years old before the start date.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or Pharm.D. with modeling, data analysis, or computational biology experience.
• Familiarity with meta-analysis, model-based analysis, or evidence synthesis.

• Six-month co-op from January through June 2027.
• Remote, USA.
• Hourly compensation is $29.00–$33.00.
• Job level: Internship.
