Software Intern

Overview

Software Intern supporting Pharmaceutical Distribution Operations Warehouse Automation initiatives during a Summer 2027 internship. The role assists with Material Handling Controls implementations, project activities, testing, analysis, and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Assist with inspection, integration, and testing of Material Handling Controls implementations.
• Support functional specifications, interface specifications, issue tracking, and trend analysis.
• Assist with implementation plans, testing, documentation, deployment, and project closeout.
• Support training and ongoing projects for automated Material Handling installations.
• Participate in requirements, design, documentation, evaluations, reporting, and process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and present project outcomes or recommendations.

What you'll need

• Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program at an accredited institution.
• Undergraduate students must be juniors or seniors.
• Enrollment in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Engineering is required.
• Programming skills in Visual Studio or Java are required.
• Programming skills in databases are required.
• Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.

Nice to have

• Experience with Python, Azure, Databricks, or PowerBI.

• Internship dates: June 7, 2027 to August 13, 2027.
• Remote role with likely Distribution Center visits.
• Full-time position.
• Salary range: $37,752–$56,650 annually.
