Software Engineering Intern - Enterprise Data & Systems (Salesforce & Snowflake) (Graduate/Master's)

Overview

Software Engineering Intern supporting customer-data integration across Snowflake, Salesforce, and enterprise source systems. The role involves data investigation, schema definition, reusable ingestion workflows, and CRM integration.

What you'll do

• Trace data lineage across billing, transactional, legacy, and operational systems.
• Gather requirements and define customer identity schemas for Salesforce.
• Analyze data quality, schema drift, duplicates, and source-to-target mappings.
• Build modular extraction, transformation, and ingestion workflows.
• Write SQL transformations, views, and processing routines in Snowflake.
• Map Snowflake data to standard and custom Salesforce objects.
• Document data dictionaries, ERDs, integration flows, and validation tests.

What you'll need

• Pursuing a master's degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Academic or project experience writing SQL queries with joins, aggregations, and window functions.
• Understanding of relational database principles, including foreign keys, indexing, and entity relationships.
• Working knowledge of Python, Java, or another programming or scripting language.
• Experience with Git or GitHub version control workflows.
• Ability to communicate complex data structures in plain language.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with Snowflake or Salesforce.

Details

• 13-week paid summer internship running from late May to mid-August.
• Remote work option stated.
• Base pay is $30.00–$45.00.
• Participates in daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and design reviews.
