Community Engagement Specialist - Reddit (Contract)

Overview

Monitor relevant Reddit communities and participate in discussions with helpful, informative responses that appropriately highlight Study.com. This is a fully remote contract role paid hourly.

What you'll do

• Monitor relevant subreddits for brand and product discussions.
• Respond to inquiries, reviews, comments, and relevant discussions.
• Build a credible presence through consistent subreddit engagement.
• Identify education topics, pain points, and questions for engagement opportunities.
• Flag negative sentiment, misinformation, and competitor mentions.
• Submit daily activity logs and weekly performance summaries.

What you'll need

• At least 2 years of Reddit engagement or community engagement experience on other platforms.
• Deep familiarity with subreddit cultures, norms, etiquette, and moderation practices.
• Strong conversational writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize helpful and informative responses over promotion.
• Understanding of community engagement, brand visibility, and Answer Engine Optimization.
• Ability to work consistently without direct supervision.
• Availability for 2 hours daily between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM PST.
