Corporate Affairs Intern

Overview

As a Corporate Affairs Intern, you’ll support Public Affairs and Public Relations work at Mars Petcare India, assisting with stakeholder engagements, PR communications, purpose-led campaigns, and cross-functional initiatives.

What you'll do

• Provide end-to-end support for global and regional leadership visit support, including scheduling and briefing.
• Map, track, and maintain relationships with key external stakeholders.
• Draft and support alignment of official agreements and regulatory alignment documentation.
• Monitor and summarize regional and national regulatory policies affecting the pet food and animal care industry.
• Assist in planning and executing brand PR and product campaigns across mainstream and digital media.
• Draft and proofread press releases, articles, feature stories, and briefing documents, and update the regional media database.
• Support internal communications and collaborate with Legal for risk monitoring and crisis response readiness.

What you'll need

• Completed a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mass communication, Journalism, Public Relations, Corporate Communications, or a related field.
• Must be available for a full-time, 6-month in-office internship in Hyderabad.
• Must be an immediate joiner.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to craft professional narratives for internal associates, media, and external stakeholders.
• High emotional intelligence to interact professionally with diverse stakeholders including senior leaders and external dignitaries.
• Excellent project management skills with attention to detail and prioritization in a fast-paced environment.
