Counselor

About the role

We're looking for a skilled Counselor to join our Bangalore team and provide guidance, support, and persuasive counseling to clients. You'll build meaningful relationships, identify client needs, and help them navigate decisions with confidence and clarity.

What you'll do

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions, listening actively and providing thoughtful, personalized guidance to clients
• Use strong persuasion and communication skills to help clients understand options and make informed decisions
• Build and maintain trust through empathy, professionalism, and consistent follow-up
• Document client interactions, progress, and outcomes accurately and confidentially
• Identify client concerns early and address them proactively to improve satisfaction and outcomes
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure clients receive comprehensive support

What we're looking for

• Minimum 1 year of counseling, advisory, or client-facing experience
• Excellent communication and convincing abilities — you can articulate ideas clearly and persuade thoughtfully
• Strong active listening skills and genuine empathy for client situations
• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused under pressure
• Willingness to work on-site in Bangalore

Nice to have

• Experience in education, career, financial, or wellness counseling
• Familiarity with counseling tools, CRM systems, or client management software
• Certification or formal training in counseling or related fields
