Credit Risk Analyst

Overview

Credit Risk Analyst role focused on identifying and mitigating fraud and credit losses through investigations of high-risk or suspicious merchant processing activity.

What you'll do

• Make real-time decisions on situations requiring deeper investigation and identify emerging fraud trends.
• Coordinate risk mitigation and fraud remediation with internal teams (e.g., Funding, Legal, Operations, Client Services).
• Communicate with internal and external partners about high-risk activity and recommended or required actions.
• Review and investigate merchant accounts to assess fraud and credit risk exposure.
• Negotiate collateral requirements and restructuring terms as required.
• Resolve merchant inquiries through scheduled calls and complete assigned special projects.

What you'll need

• 2-year degree with prior work experience.
• 2 years of customer service experience or 1 year of Fraud & Risk experience.
• Ability to use Excel and Word programs.
• Ability to multi-task and manage deadlines.
• Detailed and organized work style.
• Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in decisions.
