Credit Risk Specialist

Overview

Credit Risk Specialist role focused on credit risk initiatives, monitoring, and analysis to support risk mitigation and credit performance.

What you'll do

• Participate in less complex credit risk initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for risk mitigation strategies within Credit Risk Lead.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives and process improvements to support credit culture, appetite, and business performance.
• Review and analyze reports to assess and predict risk and monitor performance.
• Exercise independent judgment for medium risk deliverables.
• Collaborate with peers, colleagues, and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals.
• Interact with internal customers.

What you'll need

• 2+ years of Credit Risk experience (or equivalent via work, training, military experience, or education).
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, achieve goals, and work under pressure.
• Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Good understanding of data management discipline and experience with data management/reporting/query tools.
• Advanced SAS, including SAS macros and SQL proficiency.
• Working knowledge of handling data in Teradata/SQL.
• Advanced degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics/Finance/Engineering (or other quantitative disciplines).
