Overview
CRP Secondary Design Engineer in Hitachi Energy’s GA Secondary team, supporting Protection and Control engineering deliverables.
What you'll do
- Create electrical circuit diagrams and supporting protection & control documents.
- Prepare single line diagrams, including Protection Single Line Diagrams.
- Develop panel layouts, BOMs, and medium/high-voltage substation schematics.
- Prepare protection/control outputs such as trip matrices, IO signal lists, and interlocking tables.
- Work on junction box-related deliverables for CT/VT/density monitors and AC/DC load calculations.
- Generate communication architecture diagrams and Digital Control & Protection drawings for digital substations.
- Self-review documents and address technical queries with customers or internal teams when required.
What you'll need
- Bachelor’s degree in B.E. or Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- 2-8 years of experience.
- Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD / AutoCAD Electrical tools.
- Very good knowledge of Protection & Control systems for T&D / generation.
- Familiarity with IEC, IEEE, ANSI, and other applicable standards/codes.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English.
- Ability to work in a team with good communication and interpersonal skills.
