Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, code and enhance custom software components and applications using modern frameworks and agile practices, delivering scalable, high-performing solutions tailored to specific business needs. This is a Custom Software Engineer role with SAP UI5 Development as the must-have skill.

What you'll do

• Design and develop tailored software solutions that enhance system components and applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient software products.
• Participate in iterative development cycles and continuously refine software to meet evolving business requirements.
• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team, and take responsibility for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams, contribute to key decisions, and provide solutions to problems for the immediate team and across teams.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance team productivity and software quality.
• Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives.
• Ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards within the team.

What you'll need

• Minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP UI5 Development.
• 15 years full time education.
• Proficiency in SAP UI5 Development.
• Experience in front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and responsive design techniques.
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize application performance.
• Experience integrating SAP UI5 applications with backend services and APIs.
