Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Custom Software Engineer role to design, develop and configure software applications tailored to specific needs, taking ownership of projects and acting as the main liaison for application matters across the lifecycle from conception to deployment.

What you'll do

• Perform independently and become a subject matter expert (SME).
• Actively participate in and contribute to team discussions.
• Contribute solutions to work-related problems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure quality and performance of applications through rigorous testing and validation.
• Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
• Continuously explore and implement improvements to application functionality and user experience.
• Lead LSMV Safety Database implementation, configuration and production support, including end-to-end deployment lifecycle from business requirements through release management, Hypercare support and production issue debugging.
• Use SQL and Oracle for data validation, query analysis and troubleshooting of safety database workflows in regulated life sciences environments.

What you'll need

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Analytics.
• 15 years full time education.
• Must have skills: Proficiency in Data Analytics and Pharmacovigilance & Drug Safety Surveillance.
• Must have techno-functional experience in Pharmacovigilance, specializing in LSMV Safety Database implementation, configuration and production support using Java, SQL, SpringBoot and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience in the end-to-end LSMV deployment lifecycle.
• Strong SQL and Oracle expertise.
• Strong analytical skills to interpret complex data and generate actionable insights.
• Experience with data processing and transformation techniques to prepare data for analysis.
• Ability to work with large datasets and ensure data integrity throughout the analytics process.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycle and best practices in application design.
• Effective communication skills to present findings and collaborate with diverse teams.
