Job description

Overview

Lead the architecture, development, and integration of Android Automotive OS base software for vehicle infotainment systems. The role covers platform integration, performance optimization, automotive compliance, and technical leadership across vehicle programs.

What you'll do

Lead AAOS base software development, including HALs, AOSP, and system services.
Own the BSP, bootloader, kernel, and device-driver stack.
Integrate hardware, UX, middleware, and application components.
Drive compliance with ISO 26262, ASPICE, and ISO 21434.
Optimize boot time, system performance, and resource utilization.
Manage OTA updates, diagnostics, logging, testing, and debugging.
Mentor Android and embedded engineers across vehicle programs.

What you'll need

At least 7.5 years of experience and 12+ years in the infotainment domain with Android development experience.
Strong experience with AAOS, AOSP, and embedded Linux.
Expertise in HAL development, kernel customization, and low-level debugging.
Experience with automotive hardware, SoCs, and CAN, LIN, or Ethernet protocols.
Knowledge of secure boot, SELinux, OTA, and system diagnostics.
Proficiency in Java and Kotlin, with familiarity with C++.
Bachelor's or master's degree in computers, electronics, or a related stream, with 15 years of full-time education.
