Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Custom Software Engineer to develop and enhance custom software solutions across systems or applications.

What you'll do

• Design, code, and enhance software components across systems or applications.
• Use modern frameworks and agile practices to deliver scalable solutions.
• Collaborate as an SME and manage the team’s work and decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute to key decisions.
• Provide solutions for problems across the immediate team and multiple teams.
• Facilitate knowledge-sharing sessions to improve team capabilities.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely delivery of application features.

What you'll need

• Data engineering proficiency.
• 5 years of data engineering experience, including ETL and SQL.
• 4 years of Python and Power BI development experience.
• Experience with Spark and one or more: API, PySpark, Spark SQL, Scala, Bash shell scripting, Databricks, Postgres.
• Experience in data analysis and data visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python (or other programming languages such as Java).
• Experience in data migration.
