Custom Software Engineer

Overview

Design, develop and enhance custom software solutions that integrate across systems and applications, using modern frameworks and agile practices, in a senior subject-matter-expert role that leads a team.

What you'll do

• Act as an SME, collaborate with and manage the team to perform
• Make team decisions and contribute to key decisions across multiple teams
• Provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams
• Lead the evaluation and adoption of new technologies to improve software development processes and outcomes
• Mentor junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure alignment of software solutions with business objectives

What you'll need

• Minimum 12 years of experience in Data Architecture Principles
• Proficiency in Data Architecture Principles
• 15 years full-time education
• Strong knowledge of software design patterns and architectural best practices
• Experience in developing scalable and maintainable software components
• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment pipelines
• Ability to analyze complex systems and provide effective architectural solutions

Nice to have

• Experience with Python (Programming Language)
• Experience with PySpark
• Experience with Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform
