Customer Engineering – Engineer II

Overview

Customer Engineering – Engineer II is a customer-facing technical role that serves as a bridge between FICO’s platform and customer needs. You’ll own moderately complex customer engagements end to end, from configuration and integration through deployment and incident response.

What you'll do

• Lead customer engagements across configuration, integration, environment setup, and solution deployment.
• Guide onboarding and data integration, troubleshoot issues, and escalate only when complexity exceeds scope.
• Contribute to AI-enabled customer solutions, including integrations involving Generative AI, LLM-based capabilities, intelligent automation, and AI/ML workflows.
• Execute technical work meeting quality, security, resilience, scalability, and performance expectations.
• Represent Customer Engineering in cross-team syncs with Product Support, Professional Services, and Engineering.
• Own incident response for assigned accounts, including severity assessment, triage, resolution, and escalation for hard cases.

What you'll need

• 4+ years of experience in a technical implementation or customer-facing role.
• Ability to independently translate ambiguous or partially-defined requirements into working solutions.
• Work fluency with enterprise software platforms, APIs, and integrations.
• Hands-on exposure to FICO Platform (or comparable decision management/analytics/fraud platforms), or ability to ramp quickly.
• Ability to write solutions, runbooks, and support documentation others can rely on.
• Demonstrated ability to identify risks like data gaps and environment constraints before they become customer-facing issues.
• Track record of mentoring or informally guiding less experienced teammates.
