Data Analyst - Production Planning

Overview

Data Analyst - Production Planning to build and manage production schedules, coordinate manufacturing activities, and analyze production/performance metrics.

What you'll do

• Develop master production schedules based on work order specifications and resource/parts availability.
• Prepare operational schedules and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet production and quality needs.
• Coordinate with Customer Service to set priorities for rush and specific sales orders.
• Run comparative cost analyses to choose effective scheduling, inventory, production, and distribution options.
• Ensure operations meet shipping dates stated in sales orders.
• Monitor, analyze, and report performance metrics including output reliability, OIP, UEE, and UPLH.
• Control WIP on the floor at cut-off time and update master BOM for new items and abnormal BOM issues.

What you'll need

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 1-3 years SML or related experience.
• Analytical, mathematical, and organizational skills with verbal and written communication.
• Ability to interface with cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with process documentation and improvement.
• Ability to design and maintain tables, formulas, graphs, queries, and macros.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office and function-specific software.
