Data Engineer SAP

Overview

Data Engineer SAP to design, develop, and maintain enterprise data solutions integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.

What you'll do

• Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines integrating SAP and non-SAP systems.
• Build and enhance analytical data models in SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, and SAP SAC.
• Use SAP Business Data Cloud to orchestrate and manage cloud-based SAP data integrations.
• Architect and manage analytical data warehouse solutions for scalability, reliability, performance, and security.
• Develop data workflows in Snowflake using SQL, Python, and ETL/ELT tools like Matillion.
• Ensure compliance with data security, regulatory, and governance requirements in government cloud environments.

What you'll need

• Minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience (or 3 years with an advanced degree).
• Strong experience with SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, SAP BDC, and SAP SAC.
• Experience with Snowflake for ingestion, transformation, and performance tuning.
• Proficiency with ETL/ELT tools such as Matillion.
• Advanced SQL skills and experience with complex analytical queries.
• Solid Python experience for data engineering, automation, and pipeline development.
• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.

Details

• Work mode: Remote (primarily offsite; may be expected to travel as needed).
• Location requirements: reside and work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. territories).
• Security clearance: DoD Secret; active and existing clearance required after day 1.
