Data Engineer - Senior Manager

Overview

Lead data engineering and software solution development for PwC’s Advisory practice, focusing on digital transformation and business value.

What you'll do

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of data and software solutions.
• Act as technical owner/solution lead across architecture, design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Design scalable, resilient, and maintainable application and data/integration architectures.
• Lead enterprise-scale data engineering on modern cloud data platforms and lakehouse architectures.
• Design and implement data pipelines, data products, APIs, integrations, and distributed processing solutions using Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Drive AI-enabled solutions using Generative AI, RAG, semantic search, vector databases, and agentic AI frameworks.

What you'll need

• 13 to 18 years of relevant experience in data engineering or related technology roles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Deep expertise in application architecture, data engineering, solution design, and technical leadership.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Expertise in data lake/lakehouse, data warehousing, data modeling, and distributed data processing.
• Demonstrated CI/CD, DevOps, automated testing, and deployment automation experience.
