Data Quality Specialist

Overview

Data Quality Specialist role focused on defining and enforcing enterprise data quality frameworks and standards within Informatica IDMC.

What you'll do

• Own and manage the design and build of Data Quality rules in Informatica IDMC.
• Collaborate with Data Stewards, Governance, MDM, and engineering teams to turn requirements into design specifications.
• Monitor trends, identify systemic issues, and drive continuous improvement within the IDMC platform.
• Ensure robust data quality controls are in place for critical and regulated processes.
• Support internal and external audits with documented standards, controls, metrics, and remediation actions.

What you'll need

• 7+ years of deep expertise in enterprise data quality management frameworks and best practices.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data lifecycle management, and regulated data environments.
• Structured problem-solving and analytical skills to translate complexity into pragmatic business outcomes.
• Strong communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Informatica IDMC certifications in Data Quality and integration.
• Agile experience using Jira and Confluence; familiarity with Azure tech stack.
• High level data analysis skills using Excel, SQL, and IDMC profiling.

Nice to have

• Preferred experience with SOX, Audit, and Databricks (Unity Catalog).
