Data Science Engineering Manager

Overview

Data Science Engineering Manager to lead the Creative Production DSE team in evidence production and content understanding.

What you'll do

• Lead a team of data science and analytics engineering technical roles to shape measurement and innovation strategy.
• Own end-to-end outcomes for measurement and insights in the domain, delivering timely decision-ready work.
• Partner with other functions to frame problems, surface tradeoffs, and build shared causal understanding.
• Set team vision and direction, establish priorities and operating norms for execution and sustained impact.
• Act as a role model for Netflix values in day-to-day work.

What you'll need

• Demonstrated experience leading data science, analytics, or related technical teams in product-focused domains.
• Strong analytical judgment and structured thinking to move from messy data to clear insights and decisions.
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to influence partners using clear framing and data storytelling.
• Track record operating effectively in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with ownership and judgment.
• Track record developing and/or mentoring senior independent contributors into trusted thought partners.
• Ideally worked with stakeholders across multiple time zones.
