Overview

Data Scientist 1 responsible for conducting advanced analytics, developing medium-complexity models, and generating actionable insights for business decision-making.

What you'll do

• Mine data using modern tools and programming languages.
• Develop algorithms, conduct experiments, and build data-driven applications.
• Apply predictive modeling, statistics, and analysis techniques to structured and unstructured data.
• Support model implementation to identify patterns and generate predictions.
• Create data stories using visualization tools and methods.
• Clean, organize, and validate data for accuracy, integrity, and compliance.
• Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders on business problems, progress, and issue resolution.

What you'll need

• Typically 1–2 years of experience in data analytics, statistical modeling, machine learning, or a related field.
• Four-year degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, computer science, data science, or a related discipline, or equivalent demonstrated competence.
• Knowledge of algorithms, data mining, data analysis, and statistical modeling.
• Knowledge of machine learning, predictive modeling, and artificial intelligence.
• Experience or knowledge of Python, R, SQL, Tableau, Apache Spark, or Amazon Web Services.
• Knowledge of data visualization, big data, deep learning, and natural language processing.

Nice to have

• Programming language certification in SQL, Python, or a similar language.
